Goal Three: Effectively communicate with members of the parish and the community.

- Communicate through bulletin, newsletter, web site, local media, other church bulletins.
- Create a public relations person.
- Improve self-promotion and promotion through word of mouth.
- Presentations at mass regarding commissions.

- More friendliness in the pews.

- Promote and participate through coffee and donuts after mass at a main floor area.
- Create a welcoming committee.
- Share handout for St. Vincent DePaul friends.
- Initiate social activities that people share in common (bicycling, bowling, cards, etc.)
- Create an emailing list for parish members.
- Create a parish blog site.
- Post upcoming events on bulletin board in church.
- Avoid repetitive articles in the same bulletin.
- Sponsor a free meal for the needy at Thanksgiving, Christmas or other Holidays.
- Create an interactive web site where parishoners can volunteer, order scrip, and send email.

I think the parish would benefit from and interactive website--ordering script online, volunteering for events online, sending email thru st marys website, etc.
