Goals and Strategies
Goal One: Evangelize to spread and reveal the Catholic faith.
Strategies:
- Invite Office for Evangelization to Parish
- Have ongoing adult formation
- Promote Catholic Education(St. Marys, Cardinal Mooney, Religious Education)
- Advertise on Times Herald Web Site with Link to St. Marys and the Drift.
- Initiate small faith sharing groups in people's homes.
- Sharing of faith at the end of mass or at homiy time.
- Small classes for adults at the parish.
- Increase in prayer, prayer cards, and praying together at every mass.
- Instill that formation is a life long process.
- Share tesomonials and faith stories.
- Improve adult formation and education.
- Initiate a "welcome home" program.
- Survey other faiths or groups to see what is successful.
- Set a good example when involved in other groups or the community.
